Ford Face Off

The drag strip is an integral part of the show at FordFest and will be in full swing throughout the day, but for two one-hour sessions (at 11:00-12:00, and 15:00-16:00) the drag strip will become a true new versus old Blue Oval battleground as classic and modern fast Fords go head to head on the quarter-mile!

The Ford Face Off will see pre-1990 cars take on post-1990 cars in the opposing lane. For the entire hour show-goers can witness this new versus old action, as some of the finest fast Fords of all ages fight it out on the strip! With bragging rights up for grabs for the fastest ‘old’ and fastest ’new’ times, it’s not just the guy in the other lane you’ll be racing – you’ll want to be the fastest in your category too!

How to get Involved?

If you sign up for the RWYB action then you can take part in the Face Off. Simply line up in the appropriate fire-up lane for the age of you car, and complete the run as you would normally. The only difference this time is you’ll be lining up against a ‘new’ or ‘old’ rival, and you’ll be racing for the pride of your fellow classic or fast Ford fans.
